The Board of Professional Responsibility will be closed Tuesday, December 31, 2024 and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in observance of the New Year.

Information for the public

The Board of Professional Responsibility serves the public by supervising the ethical conduct of attorneys. Members of the general public, including clients, judges, or anyone who believes an attorney has acted unethically, may file either a formal complaint or an informal request for assistance from the Board. For alleged ethical violations of a serious nature, a formal complaint should be filed with the Board. For information and concerns which do not rise to the level of serious ethical violations, an informal request for assistance can be filed with the Board’s Consumer Assistance Program (CAP).
